On behalf of SNAP foundation we would like to thank those who attended our very first charity fundraising exhibition on Thursday 17th November in London. People from across the UK came together to raise an incredible amount for the SNAP Foundation. We believe it was a huge success because of your generous donations and support!
On the night we raised a whopping £8125 with all of the prizes sold.
Thanks to you this money will mean we will be able to continue our great work in giving disadvantaged children a voice through photography. We will now be able to buy 15+ schools in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the township schools of South Africa the basic equipment and cameras they need to run lessons in 2017. Our goal is to get art and photography into schools; spark creativity, give hope and ultimately unlock creative potential of the next generation, one picture at a time. Inspiring thousands of children to picture their world.
We have exciting volunteer trips planned for 2017 and we welcome you to take part. All we ask is that you share this with your friends and family that may be interested. We have South Africa in February, DR Congo in April and South Africa again in September 2017 for either 2 or 5 weeks options.
